Ending Free Rein for Islamic State, Turkey Feels Its Wrath

(New York Times) Rukmini Callimachi - For years, Turkey served as a rear base and transit hub for Islamic State fighters, possibly protecting it from violence. Now, analysts say, the country may be paying the price for tightening its borders and allowing the U.S. to use a Turkish air base to fly sorties over Syria and Iraq.
