(Weekly Standard) Elliott Abrams - On March 3, 2015, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the U.S. Congress to blast the nuclear deal with Iran. Netanyahu's critics claimed that his speech was a huge mistake that reduced support for Israel. The recent Gallup poll shows an increase in support for Israel from 49 to 53% in the last year - the year in which Netanyahu's supposedly damaging speech was made. The writer, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, was a U.S. deputy national security advisor.
