Israeli Customs Find Phones, Gold Bars in EU Rep's Vehicle

(Globes) Customs officers at the Allenby Crossing between Israel and Jordan seized tens of kilograms of gold bars and jewelry, over 700 smartphones, and steroids in the SUV of a political adviser to the EU mission to the Middle East, the Israel Tax Authority reported Thursday.
