Hamas Terror Cell Planned Highway Shooting Attack
(Times of Israel) Judah Ari Gross - The Israel Security Agency announced Sunday that it had arrested a Hamas terror cell in Hebron in November that planned to carry out a terror attack on Route 35 between Hebron and Ashkelon, and had purchased a variety of weapons, including an M-16 rifle, for the attack. The head of the terror cell, Mehmad Ali Qawasmeh, 38, is the brother of one of the terrorists responsible for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers in summer 2014.
