Russia-Israel Coordination Mechanism on Syria Is Not Working
(Jerusalem Post) Yossi Melman - When Prime Minister Netanyahu met with President Putin in Moscow a few weeks ago they set up a coordination mechanism to avoid military clashes between their forces. But in practice this mechanism does not exist. Senior sources say that Russia updates Israel after the fact or provides worthless information. That was the case with the most recent Russian attacks on the Golan Heights in Syria.
