IDF: Hizbullah in "Strategic Distress"
(Ha'aretz) Gili Cohen - According to a senior officer on the Israel Defense Forces General Staff, Hizbullah is in "strategic distress." Some 6,000-8,000 Hizbullah fighters have been deployed in Syria, and Hizbullah has also sent advisers to Yemen. This creates tension over Hizbullah's image as a "defender of Lebanon." Some 700-1,000 Hizbullah fighters have been killed in Syria - about 100 in the last two weeks.
