UK University Event Questioning Israel's Right to Exist Is Cancelled
(Guardian-UK) Haroon Siddique - A conference at the University of Southampton discussing the right of Israel to exist has been cancelled. The conference had been condemned by the Jewish Board of Deputies, the Zionist Federation UK, Eric Pickles, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, and Caroline Noakes, MP for Romsey and Southampton.
