Iranian Offensive Fails on the Syrian Golan
(Times of Israel) Avi Issacharoff - In a military offensive that began in January to clear the Syrian Golan Heights of opposition forces, Assad regime soldiers and Hizbullah fighters sought to secure the route from Dara'a to Damascus. But after three months of fighting, the operation has not succeeded. In Nawa, Sheikh Maskin, Tel Mar'i, and Dara'a, opposition forces drove back the Iranian-backed forces.
