Israeli Doctors Implant Titanium Jaw in Wounded Syrian

(Jerusalem Post) Judy Siegel-Itzkovich - A 23-year-old Syrian has received a pioneering jaw implant made from titanium after a bullet completely destroyed his lower jaw. The man reached Haifa's Rambam Medical Center in critical condition, unable to speak or eat. One day after surgery, the patient was eating and speaking. The customized artificial jawbone was created on a 3D printer.
