Islamic Militants Claim Responsibility for Bombing French Center in Gaza
(AFP-Ynet News) The ultra-conservative Islamic militant group Jund Ansar Allah claimed responsibility Thursday for a bomb attack that damaged the French Cultural Center in Gaza City last week. French diplomatic missions have been on high alert since the start of a spate of kidnappings and beheadings of foreigners by Islamic State jihadists and their allies, particularly that of Frenchman Herve Gourdel in Algeria. France has angered Islamists by taking part in air strikes on IS forces in Iraq.
