(National Post-Canada) Tristin Hopper - Israeli-Canadian Howie Rothman was struck in the head by an axe wielded by a Palestinian attacker at a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday. Raised in Toronto, Rothman and his wife have lived in Israel for the past 30 years.
