Hundreds Die in Battle for Syrian Air Base

(Daily Star-Lebanon) The opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said nearly 350 ISIS fighters were killed and several hundred wounded during the fighting at Tabqa, while more than 170 government troops were killed on Sunday and another 150 may have been captured.
