The Crumbling Deal on Syria's Chemical Weapons
(Wall Street Journal) Paul Wolfowitz - Syria will miss the June 30 deadline for the destruction of its chemical weapons under an agreement brokered by the U.S. and Russia. Moreover, the regime is now using chlorine gas as a chemical weapon. The chemical-weapons agreement has also distracted attention from the regime's continuing killing by "conventional" means, leaving Bashar Assad free to keep killing citizens with impunity.
