Thousands Attend Pro-Israel Rally in New Jersey, Including Governor, Senators
(AP/San Francisco Chronicle) - New Jersey's governor and senators joined thousands Thursday night at a pro-Israel rally at Rutgers University. "Israel should make no concession until terrorism is eliminated," Gov. James McGreevey told Israel supporters. "Never has Israel, or would Israel, target innocents." The rally was organized by Jewish groups in response to recent anti-Semitic vandalism at Rutgers and a scheduled pro-Palestinian conference this weekend in New Brunswick.
