Sharp Drop Reported in Islamic Terror Funding
(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - There has been a drastic drop over the past few months in the amount of financial aid channeled from Islamic charitable organizations abroad to Islamic terror groups in the territories. Israeli officials believe this is due to restrictions imposed by the U.S. and other countries on charity groups in their respective countries. On the other hand, the PA's financial situation is improving, with about NIS 1 billion in its coffers. Some Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, are also sending humanitarian aid through the PA now instead of to Hamas.
