Israel Vows to Ensure Palestinian Election

(AP/Washington Post) Israel will do "everything in its power" to enable Palestinian elections to take place, Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said Monday after meeting in Jerusalem with U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell.
