Syrian Air Force General Killed by Rebels
(BBC News) Senior Syrian air force general Abdullah Mahmoud al-Khalidi was shot dead on Monday by rebels in central Damascus, state television reported. One of Syria's foremost experts in aviation, he was a member of the Syrian Air Force command.
