U.S. May Fund Training of Larger Palestinian Force

[Reuters] Adam Entous - The U.S. is considering expanding assistance beyond Mahmoud Abbas' presidential guard to members of the National Security Forces (NSF), the largest force under his command, Western and Palestinian officials said. Palestinian officials estimate that the NSF has as many as 40,000 members, the closest thing the Palestinians have to an army.
