Syrian President Denies Iran Rift

[Al-Jazeera-Qatar] Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has denied rumors of a rift between Damascus and Iran during a visit to Tehran. "We should cooperate and work to make the public aware of the sinister aims of the United States and the Zionists," Assad said Saturday after talks with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
