Hamas Running in Palestinian Elections
(Jerusalem Post) Khaled Abu Toameh - Hamas announced on Saturday that it will participate in the first municipal elections to be held in the West Bank and Gaza Strip since 1976, beginning December 9. In 1996, Hamas boycotted the elections for the Palestinian Legislative Council and the presidency of the PA.
