The 25-Year U.S.-Iran War

(Jerusalem Post) Amir Taheri - At a meeting in Teheran last week, the Islamic Republic's supreme guide Ali Khamenei was asked: Is the Islamic Republic at war against the United States? According to leaks, the ayatollah claimed that it was the U.S. that was at war against "our Islamic revolution." It is fair to say that the U.S. has been at war with the Khomeinist regime ever since the mullahs seized power in Teheran in 1979.
