Palestinians Bolstered by New Weaponry
(Middle East Newsline) The Palestinians have been strengthened by the introduction of new Hizballah-supplied weaponry smuggled from Egypt. Israeli military sources said improved anti-tank rocket-propelled grenades and longer-range Kassam-class missiles have arrived over the last few months, either bought, supplied, or developed by Hizballah. The Cobra RPG launcher, manufactured by Egypt, is an enhanced version of the Russian RPG-7, which can penetrate most armored combat vehicles.
