Two Syrian Colonels Gunned Down in Aleppo

(AP-Washington Post) Gunmen struck Thursday in the heart of Aleppo, Syria's largest city and a stronghold of support for President Bashar Assad, killing two army colonels. Syria's state news agency said four gunmen opened fire on Abdel-Karim al-Rai and Fuad Shaban, who were on their way to work.
