Yad Vashem Protests Austrian Newspaper Caricature
(Jerusalem Post) Etgar Lefkovits - In a rare move, Yad Vashem on Thursday criticized the Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung for running a caricature on Wednesday titled "Then and Now," that compared an IDF solider to a Nazi. "The caricature is a classic expression of the new antisemitism...which diminishes the Holocaust and distorts both today's reality as well as that of the Holocaust," said a statement by Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority.
