Hamas Chiefs Insist Fight Goes On
(BBC News) Hamas leaders made a rare public appearance together Saturday in Gaza to assert the Palestinian militant group's right to continue its armed campaign against Israel. "Hamas confirms it is committed to armed resistance," Ismail Haniya said. The Hamas leaders positioned themselves in front of their green flag and draped themselves in the group's color, defying PA officials, who said on Friday that only the Palestinian flag should be used to celebrate Israel's withdrawal.
