EU Eyeing Hizballah
(Jerusalem Post) Herb Keinon - The European Parliament on Thursday backed taking measures against Hizballah if evidence indicates that the group is involved in terrorist operations. However, they did not put Hizballah on a European list of terrorist organizations after a proposal to do so was dropped. Nonetheless, Israeli officials welcomed the resolution that was approved, which they said reflects a growing European awareness as to the real essence of Hizballah.
