Report: Syrian Officer Killed over Refusal to Open Fire at Protesters

(Ha'aretz) Jack Khoury - A Syrian colonel was killed along with two of his sons over his unwillingness to open fire at anti-government protesters, websites linked to Syrian opposition groups said on Monday.
