Israel: Pollution Level at Jordan River Baptism Site Acceptable
(AFP) Israel on Tuesday insisted that bacteriological tests at a site on the Jordan River reputed to be the spot where Jesus was baptized is "fit for baptism," rejecting a claim water pollution has reached dangerous levels.
