Spanish Prosecutors Demand to Shelve Gaza Probe

[AFP] Spanish public prosecutors appealed Wednesday to shelve a decision taken by National Court Judge Fernando Andreu on Monday to press ahead with a probe into an Israeli air raid in Gaza in 2002 which killed Hamas leader Salah Shehade. Prosecutors argued that "the judicial actions taken by the State of Israel should be considered to be sufficient procedures of inquiry."
