Israel Weighed Overthrow of Hamas in Gaza

[Ha'aretz] Yuval Azoulay - The Israel Security Agency had recommended Israel overthrow the Hamas regime in Gaza while Ehud Olmert was prime minister, Yuval Diskin told the Knesset committee. Hamas was significantly weakened by Israel's Gaza operation, Diskin said. The group has dismissed senior military figures and is busy rebuilding its military capacity, including its rocket arsenal.
