UN Official Attacks Western Policies on Iran and Sudan

[New York Times] Neil MacFarquhar - Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, president of the UN General Assembly, lashed out at the West in general and the U.S. in particular on Tuesday, saying that Iran's president had been unfairly "demonized" and that the indictment of Sudan's president was racist. D'Escoto denied ever having heard that Ahmadinejad had called for Israel to be erased.
