(Jerusalem Post-Times of Israel) Anna Ahronheim - Israel used its Arrow-3 missile defense system for the first time on Thursday after Israeli jets were targeted with Syrian anti-aircraft missiles during an operation over Syria. Three SA-5 surface-to-air missiles were fired by Syria at Israel Air Force planes.
