U.S. Issues New Terror Warning to Americans in Europe

(U.S. State Department) The State Department issued a new Worldwide Caution on Thursday on the continuing threat of terrorist actions and violence against U.S. citizens and interests throughout the world. "ISIL [ISIS], al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab, and other terrorist groups continue to plan terrorist attacks in multiple regions....Credible information indicates terrorist groups such as ISIL and al-Qaeda and its affiliates continue to plot near-term attacks in Europe. All European countries remain vulnerable to attacks from transnational terrorist organizations."
