(Defense One) Nasim al Sanani - In September, the Houthis, a Zaidi Shia revivalist group, took over Sana'a, Yemen's capital. Nearly all of the dozens of Houthi military checkpoints in the city display their slogan printed in green and red: "Death to America, Death to Israel, Damn the Jews, Victory to Islam." Yet the Houthis have never attacked Western interests. In fact, in all the areas of Yemen the Houthis control, al-Qaeda is nowhere to be found.
