Just a few weeks ago, diplomats and journalists from all over the world were preoccupied with the status of the Palestinian leader who was under siege by Israel in his headquarters in Ramallah. Yet now he seems to be forgotten. Has Arafat's leadership effectively ended? The three-man kitchen cabinet that operated alongside Arafat during the siege no longer exists.
