(Yediot Ahronot) - Felix Frisch 436 Israelis were killed in 2002, compared with 198 in 2001. 76% of Israelis killed in 2002 were civilians. Among the Palestinians, 45% were civilians and 55% were fighters; 95% men and only 5% women - disproving claims that the IDF fires indiscriminately. 151 Palestinians, 15% of the total, were killed by other Palestinians, in suicide attacks, or in work accidents.
