One-Fourth of Seeds Imported by Turkey Comes from Israeli Firms


(Hurriyet-Turkey) Turkey is continuing to import nearly 25% of its seeds from Israel despite the ongoing diplomatic disputes. "Turkey imported $62 million in vegetable seeds from Israel in the first seven months of this year," Ibrahim Yetkin of Turkey's Agriculturalists' Association said Sunday. Turkey imports tomato, cucumber, onion and lettuce seeds from Israel.
