(Bamahane-Israel Defense Forces) Reut Farkash - The IDF has placed new anti-personnel mines along the Israel-Syria border in the Golan Heights. Combat engineering forces conducted the mine-laying operation in an overt manner during daylight hours. On Nakba Day in May, demonstrators from Syria crossed existing anti-personnel minefields and infiltrated into Israel.
