(New York Times) Andy Newman - Last Wednesday, James D. Wolfensohn, the former president of the World Bank and current Middle East envoy for the White House, asked his friend, real estate magnate and publisher Mortimer B. Zuckerman, to raise $14 million to help buy the Jewish settlers' lucrative greenhouses in the Gaza Strip so that the Palestinians can take them over when the settlers are gone.
