UN Security Council Eyes Stiffer Iran Sanctions

[Washington Times] Betsy Pisik - The UN Security Council will tighten economic sanctions on Iran as early as Saturday to compel the Islamic republic to end its uranium enrichment efforts, diplomats say. The five veto-wielding permanent members of the council have agreed on the core language, but four nonpermanent members of the council - Indonesia, South Africa, Libya, and Vietnam - may vote against the new resolution.
