(USA Today) Deirdre Shesgreen - Avril Haines, nominated to lead the U.S. intelligence community as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), told the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday that the U.S. is "a long ways" from rejoining the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement. "I absolutely agree that Iran is a threat and a destabilizing actor in the region."
