(Military Times) Diana Stancy Correll - At least 14 Russian fighter aircraft flown by Russian mercenaries of the Wagner Group are engaging in ground strikes in Libya in support of Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter's Libyan National Army, U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Heidi Berg, director of intelligence at the U.S. Africa Command, said Friday. 3,000 Wagner Group mercenaries are in Libya, together with 2,000 Syrian mercenaries, to support the LNA, while Turkey has dispatched 5,000 Syrian mercenaries to challenge the LNA.
