IAEA: Iran's Uranium Stockpile Is 10 Times over Limit Set by Nuclear Deal

(Institute for Science and International Security) David Albright, Sarah Burkhard, and Andrea Stricker - According to the International Atomic Energy Agency's quarterly safeguards report for Sept. 4, 2020, Iran's low enriched uranium stock now exceeds by ten-fold the limit set in the nuclear deal. Iran's estimated nuclear breakout time is as short as 3.5 months. In as little as 5.5 months, Iran could produce enough weapon-grade uranium for two nuclear weapons.
