(T-Intelligence) Work is underway on Turkey's first aircraft carrier, the TCG Anadolu, at Sedef Shipyard near Istanbul. The project is a joint Turkish-Spanish venture using the design of the SPS Juan Carlos amphibious assault ship operated by the Spanish Navy. Photos by the private Israeli firm ImageSat show great progress. The ship is to enter service in 2021.
