(Jerusalem Post) Anna Ahronheim - Israel has struck 54 targets in Syria and 900 in Gaza over the last year, according to the IDF. Palestinians in Gaza fired 1,295 rockets at Israel in 2019, most during 12 violent rounds of confrontation. 85% of the 478 rockets fired toward residential areas were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system. In the West Bank, there were 51 terror attacks in 2019, compared to 76 in 2018. They included 19 shooting attacks and 12 stabbing attacks.
