(Algemeiner) Benjamin Kerstein - Turkey is claiming that a planned Israeli undersea natural gas pipeline, agreed upon with Italy, Greece and Cyprus, infringes on an area claimed by Turkey under an economic agreement it reached with Libya, Israel's Channel 11 reported Thursday. Turkey has officially asked the UN to recognize the agreement with Libya as a first step toward preventing Israel from building its pipeline.
