Saudi Arabia Halts Red Sea Oil Shipments after Houthi Attacks

(Bloomberg) Javier Blas - Saudi Arabia temporarily halted oil shipments via the Bab el-Mandeb Strait at the southern tip of the Red Sea after two of its tankers were attacked by the Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi militia. One vessel suffered minor damage, but there were no injuries or spills. The waterway allows for exports to Europe via the Suez Canal.
