Iran Sues U.S. in International Court of Justice over Renewed Sanctions

(New York Times) Rick Gladstone - Iran on Monday sued the U.S. at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, asking the court to order the U.S. to "terminate the 8 May sanctions without delay." The lawsuit also demanded that the U.S. compensate Iran for financial damage already done by the re-imposed sanctions. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Twitter that Iran sought "to hold [the] U.S. accountable for its unlawful re-imposition of unilateral sanctions."
