(Times of Israel) Jacob Magid - Israel Police on Saturday foiled an attempted stabbing attack by a Palestinian man carrying a knife and a meat cleaver outside Beit El in the West Bank. The man, 28, told police he was planning to carry out a stabbing attack. Earlier Saturday, border police at the Shuafat checkpoint near Jerusalem arrested a Palestinian who tried to pass through a metal detector while carrying a knife.
