(New York Times) Declan Walsh and Eric Schmitt - The U.S. military carried out its first drone strike against al-Qaeda militants in southern Libya on Saturday. The U.S. Africa Command said two militants with Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) were killed when a missile fired by the drone struck a house in Ubari, 435 miles south of Tripoli.
